Description Sapibenega Kuna Lodge

Sapibenega, The Kuna Lodge is located on a private island within the Kuna Yala Archipelago, also known as San Blas which includes 365 wonderful islands off the Caribbean coast of Panama. Sapibenega in Kuna language means Nature and the lodge offers tours to explore white sand beaches, swim in blue water over corral reefs and to experience the area's natural beauty. This all inclusive nature lodge offers eco-tours that include rainforests, waterfall, trees and plants - guided by experienced Kuna guides and healers! The Sapibenega Lodge consists of 6 spacious cottages that were designed under the concept of conservation of Kuna culture and to support and preserve nature in its entirety. At their restaurant you will be treated to a variety of local and tropical foods and two bars offer natural juices and drinks. Fresh seafood including lobster, crab and many different species of fish and fruits and vegetables are the main part of their menu and you will enjoy romantic dinners on a sea terrace, lit by torches and under a sky full of stars!

Sapibenega, The Kuna Lodge

All cabins at the Sapibenega Lodge are equipped with private bathrooms, wood floor, sweet water, ceiling fans and balconies with hammocks. Solar panels are producing sustainable energy and the waste water is treated with biologic cleaning systems. Cabins are offered as single, double and triple rooms (family rooms upon request!) and the total number of people which can stay per night is limited at 18 to make this a really exclusive adventure. To get to the Sapibenega Lodge, you would take a short flight from Panama City to Playon Chico airstrip, where a guide from Sapibenega's lodge will pick you up and transport you by motor canoe, about 8 minutes to Sapibenega.
